Spent my anniversary here and my boyfriend and I had a blast! The employees are welcoming and kind. The cats and kittens were so fun and sweet. It's funny seeing all of them together with different personalities.

To Lonestar Pawz: We won’t be returning Rosie to you on the 22nd as previously planned. I wanted to let you know that you delivered us a very sick cat. After a month of putting us through hell, we had to euthanize her the other day. Her constant vocalizations quickly devolved into howling on Saturday which alerted us to the fact that she was in pain. We immediately rushed her to the ER. At her initial vet exam, it was noted that she had a mass in her abdomen that raised some concern though it didn’t appear to be an emergency. As her constant vocalizations started to change we had an ultrasound performed on her. The mass in her abdomen was confirmed though its exact nature was still somewhat of a mystery. The mass WAS LARGE AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN DISCOVERED AND DEALT WITH BEFORE YOU ADOPTED HER OUT! THIS is NOT why we were returning her to you. We were returning her because her behavior (constant vocalization) turned our home upside down and had our other cat extremely upset. He is an extremely social cat but her behavior caused him to isolate himself, completely out of character. THIS is why she was being returned. We had to kill some time before a flight and this was a great way to do it. We bought treats to feed the cats/kittens, played with the adaptable, and were able to rest with drinks in our hand. A very relaxing time.

This place has such cute kitties who are obviously very well cared for. The staff is very friendly too (especially Kaylee who hung out with us and shared some of their backgrounds with us.) Highly recommend if you're a cat lover to just drop by or adopt. :)

We booked a visit to Lone Star Pawz Catfe during a recent trip, and when we arrived, we realized the café was actually closed that day due to a scheduling mix-up. Even so, the staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly, since the day hadn’t been blocked off online, they graciously let us come in anyway. They made us feel welcome right away and told us to take our time with the cats, which we really appreciated. The café itself is adorable and very clean, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. And the cats, oh my goodness. Every one of them was sweet, playful, and full of personality. It was honestly hard to resist taking one home! I always look for cat cafés when traveling, and this one is definitely a standout. We’ll absolutely be returning on our next trip. Highly recommend for any cat lover!
